Nowadays, financial technology companies (fintechs) are trying to provide new banking services to meet the needs of their clients, so banks are trying to interact with these companies. The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting banks' interaction with fintechs using sequential heuristic method. For this purpose the data were collected in two stages. In the qualitative section, data were collected and then coded through interviews with 11 bank managers and financial technology service providers selected as targeted judging samples, and four categories of factors including stakeholder characteristics, environmental factors, organizational factors and financial factors. Also, the characteristics of the highest ranking stakeholders and environmental factors, financial factors and organizational factors are in the next ranks, respectively
